Who I am
I’m Ian Drewery, the roofer behind Kiwiboi Roofing. After 20 years in the building and roofing industry, I decided it was time to start my own gig. Over the years, I’ve worked on all kinds of projects—from patch jobs and leak fixes to full re-roofs and tidy repainting. I’m also a concrete tile specialist and trained in Safe Working at Heights, so your roof’s in safe hands.
My mission with Kiwiboi Roofing is to offer Aucklanders reliable roofing work without the hassle. No dodgy quotes, no disappearing acts—just quality results and honest communication. I take pride in helping Kiwis protect their homes with roofs that look good and last.

Q1: Do you provide free quotes?
Yes, I do. I’ll come out for a look and give you a no-obligation quote. It’s all free.
Q2: What areas do you service?
I work right across Auckland and can usually fit in most suburbs. Just flick me a message if you’re not sure.
Q3: Are you certified for height safety?
Absolutely. I’m certified in Safe Working at Heights (NZQA Unit Standards 17600, 23229), so you can trust I follow all the right protocols.
Q4: What roofing do you specialise in?
I’m a concrete tile specialist, but I also handle metal and other residential roofing types.
Q5: How long does a job take?
Depends on what needs doing. I’ll always give you a time estimate before starting and keep you in the loop throughout.
Q6: Do you offer urgent repairs?
If you’ve got a leak or emergency, give me a bell and I’ll try to fit you in ASAP.
